Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist - Calgary Zone
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Human Resources Business Partnerships team in Calgary Zone. As an integral part of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Director and Managers, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar management for Directors and Managers, prioritizing appointments, and drafting correspondence
- Maintaining and managing workflow to handle projects and tasks effectively
- Payroll duties, tracking and reporting, booking grievances, troubleshooting IT issues, managing program registrations, ordering stationery and IT equipment
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding team members, processing expense claims, and providing backup coverage support
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education (certificate or diploma in office, business, or human resources)
- Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, cellular devices (iPhone & Android), effective communication, organizational skills, time management, client-focused orientation, and commitment to quality services
- Judgement, tact, diplomacy, discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
- Previous experience in a human resources role, ideally in a large organization with complex and diverse environments (healthcare and/or union experience an asset)
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
