About This Role

At Bank of Montreal, we seek a seasoned professional to drive our compensation strategy forward. As a Senior Manager, Data Governance and Data Quality Management, you will play a crucial role in shaping our compensation programs to align with our overall business strategy.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced expert to provide compensation advice and counsel through various engagements to execute our strategy and support the business/group strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to manage ambiguity effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Compensation Expertise: Offer strategic advice and counsel through various business/group and leadership engagements to execute our strategy and support the business/group strategy.
  • Drive Compensation Program Design: Define and implement compensation programs that align with our business goals and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requests and reporting requirements are met, ensuring compliance with applicable jurisdictions.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Manage resources and lead the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
  • Recommend Policy Changes: Provide input into policy decisions and recommend changes as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Able to manage ambiguity and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
