Job Summary
The Manitoba Government is seeking a skilled Clerk to join their team in Brandon. As a Clerk, you will be responsible for processing financial and administrative documents, providing program support services, and performing a wide range of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial and administrative documents, including accounts payable and financial reports
- Provide program support services, including client documentation and case management
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, word-processing, and reception duties
- Maintain accurate records and files, including archiving and retrieval
- Provide excellent customer service and interact effectively with departmental staff, external agencies, and the public
Requirements
- Experience performing clerical/administrative functions, including data entry, word-processing, and reception duties
- Experience with accounts payable and financial management
- Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy when drafting, formatting, entering, editing, and proofing
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with departmental staff, external agencies, and the public
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry and Adult Abuse Registry Checks are also required.
