About the Role:
The Manitoba Government is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Clerk in our Brandon locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling financial and administrative tasks for the region's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial and administrative documents for regional operations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide program, financial, and administrative support services to various stakeholders, including government officials and community members.
- Handle client documentation and case management, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Generate contracts and reports, utilizing strong computer skills and knowledge of administrative software.
- Manage office support and equipment/service contracts, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Participate in financial management and archiving tasks, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience in clerical/administrative functions, including data entry and word-processing.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and financial management principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and stakeholders.
