Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Yellowknife Restaurant Limited Partnership. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met at all times
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and retention
  • Financial Management
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
    • Monitor and analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness
    Requirements
    • 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
    • Proven track record of success in operations management, customer service, and team management
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
