About Mark's Restaurant

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to a high standard.
    • Portion and wrap foods for service.
    • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in cooking.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • General Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
    • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
