Vegpro International Inc. seeks a highly skilled National Sales Development Manager to oversee sales objectives in the Canadian territory, specifically Quebec, Ontario, and the West Region. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact for Major National accounts in the fresh Attitude brand value-added lettuce segment.

Responsibilities:
  • Incentivize and negotiate agreements with customers, partners, or suppliers.
  • Develop profitable product markets and increase sales revenue.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by responding to requests and complaints.
  • Meet with customers to address their needs and solve problems.
Sales Growth Strategies:
  • Maintain and enhance sales performance to achieve set objectives.
  • Generate category growth from existing and potential client accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to define pricing strategies, implement programs, and share information.
Account Management:
  • Create upsell opportunities with existing customers.
  • Gather market data to develop strategic plans and manage territories.
  • Coordinate account execution with partners and vendors.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the vegetable market and sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • College or university degree in business administration or a related field, with a specialization in sales or marketing.
  • Over ten years of experience in sales and marketing in retail or food industry or agribusiness.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) to serve local markets in Ontario and British Columbia.
  • A strong network of contacts in the food industry.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A passport valid for the required period.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Retail Link and/or I-commerce.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and experience.
