About This Role

As a Regional Associate Inside Sales at National Bank, you will play a key role in identifying and qualifying Investment Advisors and Financial Planners throughout the IIROC and MFDA channels for the sale of NBI's investment solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to increase awareness and recognition of NBI's investment solutions in the market and graduate high-potential prospects up the segmentation ladder.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Make proactive sales and business development phone calls according to activity targets.
  • Actively participate in the business development of the territory, specifically qualifying and graduating prospects, in order to meet sales objectives/targets.
  • Create, execute, and evaluate ongoing sales campaigns.
  • Ensure high-quality client service and interactions with new supporters and prospects/leads.
  • Participate in training sessions to remain an effective resource person in terms of both products and the market in general.
  • Work as a team with other sales associates and sales managers to share ideas and increase overall sales success.
About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field and 3-5 years of experience. A completed Master's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience may also be considered. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) course, Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or completion within six months of hiring is required.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of financial markets and how investment solutions react accordingly. Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complicated concepts and problems, are essential. Ability to build credibility and rapport with clients over the phone efficiently and effectively is also required.
