Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support IV at Alberta Health Services plays a vital role in a complex, high-volume environment where employee life events are administered and processed in accordance with AHS policies and Collective Agreements. This position requires extensive knowledge of Alberta Health Services policies, procedures, leave rules, and guidelines, as well as collective agreements and technological systems.
Description:
As an Administrative Support IV, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to Managers, Employees, Resolutions Specialists & Coordinators, and HR Business Partners Analysts and Advisors. You will be proficient in assessing and processing complex transactions within established time and quality standards while confirming data accuracy and maintaining appropriate controls for audit verification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides expert advice and guidance to Managers, Employees, Resolutions Specialists & Coordinators, and HR Business Partners Analysts and Advisors.
- Proficient in assessing and processing complex transactions within established time and quality standards.
- Confirms data accuracy and maintains appropriate controls for audit verification.
- Participates in projects representing LOA Admin with regards to system implementations or upgrades, procedure changes, and process improvements.
- Assists project teams in performing tests to ensure system and process changes are in accordance with required specifications.
Requirements:
Some post-secondary education is required. The ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information within the framework of multiple collective agreements and AHS policies and procedures is essential. Experience working in direct contact with clients via telephone and email, as well as experience working with multi-union environments, is an asset.
