Job Summary:
The Administrative Support IV plays a vital role in the success of the Geriatric Mental Health program at Alberta Health Services. As an Administrative Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing advanced administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our team.

About the Role:
This is a dynamic position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with our clinical teams to manage referrals, appointments, and schedules. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a point of contact for clients and partner services
• Ensure client registration and discharge
• File creation and management
• Transcription
• Creation of minutes, memos, and information tables
• Manage personal and medical information in accordance with privacy and confidentiality standards
• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and program committees
• Manage inventory of supplies through organization and ordering as required
• Manage inventory of computers and phones

Requirements:
• Some post-secondary education
• Completion of Secretarial or Unit Clerk course - including medical terminology - required
• Ability to speak and write English fluently required
• 2 years' experience in healthcare secretarial or administrative role required
• 2 years' experience in medical transcription in the last 5 years required
• 40 words per minute typing required
