Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Chang Noi's Authentic Thai Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Develop and implement efficient food preparation and service procedures to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels of food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels.
- Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste and optimizing profitability.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food quality and safety standards are maintained at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including food costs, inventory levels, and staff productivity.
- Manage kitchen budgets, ensuring that expenses are controlled and optimized.
- Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Skills and Qualities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
