Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Chang Noi's Authentic Thai Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our authentic Thai cuisine, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand, while minimizing waste and reducing costs.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as culinary arts or hospitality management.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and quality control.
