At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, we are seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests, respond to requests, and settle accounts
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including cash handling and balancing a float
- Serve as a sales agent promoting and up-selling hotel services
- Take initiative to add a personalized experience for our guests
Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Previous front desk experience is required, previous customer service experience is an asset
