HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team at UAP Inc. in Quebec and the Maritimes.
About the RoleThis strategic leader will play a key role in supporting the company's objectives, promoting agile talent management, and ensuring a rewarding employee experience across our regions, including head office, distribution centers, regional headquarters, and over 100 stores.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and resolve complex employee relations situations, identifying and resolving potential or existing conflicts.
- Coach managers on all aspects of employee relations, leading a team of advisors and conducting or supervising investigations and managing complaints.
- Ensure the execution of annual HR programs within required timeframes, support employee development initiatives, and manage succession in the region.
- Participate in recruitment for certain key positions and propose proactive approaches to resolve management issues.
- Advise managers on collective agreements and labor laws, managing relations with the union in three unionized distribution centers and one store.
- Oversee grievances and resolve labor-related issues, acting as co-spokesperson during collective negotiations.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with union representatives to foster a positive work environment, anticipating trends and issues to propose preventive strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, both orally and in writing, collaborating fluently with internal clients across Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Availability to travel within Quebec and the Maritimes.
- Strong influence, strategic approach, problem-solving skills, change management expertise, excellent judgment, negotiation, and mediation abilities.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
