Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Commercial Real Estate experience working with a prominent Quick-Service-Restaurant background in site selection and unit acquisition. Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a team approach to development within the region.
- Developing and executing comprehensive strategic market plans for defined territories and managing aggressive new store growth goals.
- Managing defined territories, maintaining market knowledge, and identifying coverage gaps, opportunities, trends, projected home/work/shop growth, competition, and other factors contributing to informed real estate decisions.
- Leading a team of Area Real Estate Managers to identify potential sites for new restaurant development.
- Identifying and acquiring real estate for freestanding locations, requiring effective negotiation skills and strong industry connections.
- Negotiating terms and conditions of real estate agreements and partnering with the Real Estate Transaction Manager to optimize site development and internal approval processes.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with National & Regional leadership, Owner Operators, other McDonald departments, alliance partners, and outside organizations.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong commercial real estate expertise, with a focus on site selection and unit acquisition.
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to escalate when necessary.
- Organizational skills, including project management and attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
