Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Agent Development to join our team at HomeLife Realty Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting, coaching, and developing licensed agents. As the Director of Agent Development, you will play a key role in driving the success of our brokerage by recruiting top talent, providing mentorship, and ensuring that agents reach their highest potential through ongoing training and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Agent Recruitment:

    You will be responsible for proactively recruiting licensed real estate agents to grow our brokerage. This will involve implementing strategic recruitment campaigns to attract new and experienced agents, managing and executing the full recruitment process, including interviews, onboarding, and agent retention efforts.

  • Coaching and Development:

    You will provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and training to agents to enhance their performance and productivity. This will include conducting one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops to help agents achieve their professional goals, as well as assisting agents in building and expanding their client base through effective lead-generation strategies.

  • Team Leadership:

    You will cultivate a supportive, team-oriented culture that promotes growth and collaboration. This will involve guiding agents in resolving transactional challenges and navigating complex real estate deals, as well as encouraging a continuous learning mindset by providing regular industry updates, market insights, and best practices.

  • Performance Monitoring:

    You will track agents' performance metrics and help them set and achieve sales targets. This will also involve identifying areas of improvement and working with agents to implement actionable plans for success.

Qualifications
  • An active real estate broker's license in Ontario is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience at a real estate brokerage.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training, and managing licensed Realtors.
  • Strong knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a diverse group of agents.
  • Proficiency in real estate software and CRM systems is a plus.
