Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Authorize payments by cheque to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Order merchandise to maintain inventory levels and meet customer demands.
  • Establish work schedules to balance workload and employee needs.
  • Sell merchandise directly to customers or through partnerships with other businesses.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and effective manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize returns.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate as minimum educational requirement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Dependability and reliability in maintaining high standards of work quality and productivity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Initiative to take ownership of projects and tasks, and to seek out opportunities for growth and development.
  • Judgement to make informed decisions that align with business objectives and values.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid vacation time.
