Executive Chef Position at Sagar Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Sagar Indian Cuisine in Smiths Falls. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring that our menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that showcase our culinary expertise and cater to the tastes of our customers.
- Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional results.
- Sourcing and Inventory: Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen to protect our customers' health and well-being.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent is required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with our team and customers.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
- Physical Demands: The ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
