We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator and Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our team at Hemlock Printers Ltd.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering all aspects of payroll and reporting (Canadian and US). This includes preparing, verifying, and processing all employee payroll-related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay. Additionally, the individual will prepare payroll-related filings and supporting documentation, compile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer all aspects of payroll and reporting (Canadian and US)
  • Prepare, verify, and process all employee payroll-related payments
  • Prepare payroll-related filings and supporting documentation
  • Compile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in accounting or one year of full cycle payroll experience
  • Experience with Dayforce is an asset
  • Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification and/or American Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is an asset
