Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a Senior Liability Adjuster to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims by telephone, correspondence, and mediation. Your primary responsibility will be to settle losses within delegated authority or report to clients while directing field adjusters, experts, and legal counsel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and analyze claims information
- Maintenance of accurate billing and time and expense records
- Negotiate, settle, and finalize claims
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Minimum 6 years of technical claims handling experience in commercial auto and property claims handling
- Commercial liability claims experience is required
- Post-Secondary education in an insurance-related field (an asset)
- Independent Adjuster Licensed with the ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province; multiple provincial licenses preferred
- Strong computer and reporting skills, including Office 365 and Windows 10
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
