The Property Claims Examiner – Risk Management Specialist plays a critical role in managing and mitigating risk for the CAA Club Group. This position involves investigating, evaluating, and settling claims of moderate complexity and severity, mainly through claims examining with occasional direct handling responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and evaluate property claims to determine coverage and liability
  • Analyze policy conditions, provisions, exclusions, and endorsements relevant to various property losses
  • Verify loss details and confirm coverage related to assigned claims
  • Review and analyze estimates, invoices, and documentation in support of payments
  • Document claim files with accurate and detailed information
  • Maintain timely and accurate claim reserves on files
  • Identify and pursue post-loss recovery opportunities to minimize claim losses
  • Prepare reports for management and reinsurers
  • Participate in settlement meetings, conferences, and mediations

Requirements:

  • College Diploma or University Degree completed
  • Enrolled in and working toward (F)CIP designation
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in property claims
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Exceptional team player with strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

About You:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Property Claims Examiner – Risk Management Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our clients, negotiate settlements, and develop expertise in property claims management.
