As a key member of IKO North America's team, the Compensation Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This is an on-site opportunity located in Mississauga, Ontario.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data, compensation information, and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automated payroll environments and 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.

The Compensation Specialist will be responsible for reviewing hourly and salary payrolls for accuracy, maintaining payroll integrity, and ensuring compliance with government legislation and company policies. They will also assist with preparing payment requests, generating management reports, and supporting audit requirements.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, ADP and Workday Payroll systems, and government regulations. Experience with fully integrated Workday applications and knowledge of benefit administration practices are also highly desirable.
