Claims Resolution Specialist

About the Role
As a Claims Resolution Specialist at CAA Club Group, you will play a crucial role in handling disputes on Ontario Accident Benefit files. The ideal candidate should have License Appeal Tribunal (LAT) work experience and Accident Benefits (AB) claims handling experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at LAT conferences/hearings and participate in negotiation and settlement processes.
- Analyze trends and opportunities to improve the quality and performance of claims services delivery.
- Demonstrate expertise through proactive file handling with strong analysis skills.
- Liaise with AB department to ensure accurate reserving and disposition planning is in place.
- Maintain awareness of case law and industry trends/changes to ensure Echelon is prepared to respond accordingly.
- Provide coaching and mentoring on technical and professional skills while maintaining jurisdictional expertise.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years of AB claims experience, solid SABs knowledge, and experience with all levels of filing handling.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Post-secondary education completed in a related field.
- CIP/FCIP designation or working towards completion.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, effective negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional team player skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including ability to adjust work schedule as required.
