At Gallagher, we are passionate about providing exceptional claims service and advocacy to our clients. As a Risk Management Specialist - Claims Advocate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and exceeding the service standards of our Claims division.

Your keen outlook and integrity will be essential in working with our dynamic team to provide outstanding claims service and advocacy to our clients. You will intake client new claims, report to the insurance company, and provide claims counselling as required to insureds in a professional and compassionate manner.

\

You will also advocate on claims as needed on behalf of clients with insurers, maintain, coordinate, and update client documents, and lead claim analysis meetings with commercial clients and/or Client Solutions Team. Your ability to connect with the Client Solutions Team, adjusters, and insureds regarding open claims will be vital in ensuring seamless communication and resolution.

In addition, you will collaborate with Loss Control Adjusters to establish or modify existing programs, liaise between insured and insurance carrier during settlement negotiations when required, document and action incoming communication in a timely fashion, and mentor new team members and facilitate onboarding within the claims department.

\

We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjusting professional who has prior Commercial Insurance and/or Claims experience, comprehensive and effective verbal/written communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines.

\
