Claims Auditor Specialist

Crawford & Company is seeking an experienced Claims Auditor Specialist to join our team in Waterloo or Mississauga, Canada. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, or fully remote options.
The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing and improving our claim handling processes. They will identify gaps and develop recommendations for process enhancement, creating documentation and facilitating training sessions to optimize performance and achieve improved audit results.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough reviews of existing claim handling processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and make informed recommendations to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create comprehensive documentation to support process improvements and facilitate training sessions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure optimal performance and achievement of improved audit results.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior claims handling within the insurance industry (P&C).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience performing claims audits.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in training remote teams.
- Prior relevant TPA experience is considered an asset.
- A university degree and post-secondary education in an insurance-related field, with a focus on obtaining a full license and CIP designation.
- Excellent data management skills and experience using reporting tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health and dental coverage, a retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
