About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Tiny Hoppers - Barrie. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Summary

The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for authorizing routine deposits and withdrawals, co-ordinating activities with other work units or departments, establishing work schedules and procedures, examining and verifying the accuracy of work, preparing and submitting reports, conducting performance reviews, performing same duties as workers supervised, recruiting and hiring staff, co-ordinating, assigning and reviewing work, maintaining operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arranging repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Authorize routine financial transactions
  • Co-ordinate activities with other teams
  • Develop and implement operational procedures
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Schedule and manage workloads
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
