Job Summary:

The Territory Manager will play a key role in driving business development activities for Westlake Royal Building Products in Western Canada. This position requires a strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales strategies to capture new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions in various environments, including jobsites and boardrooms.
  • Motivate others and demonstrate confidence in yourself and the products you represent.
  • Develop strong relationships with trades, remodelers, distribution, home builders, architects, designers, and other industry influencers.
  • Identify qualified conversion targets and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Communicate effectively in all requests, commitments, emails, voicemails, deadlines, presentations, and reports.
  • Travel up to 20-30% overnight and participate in national, regional, and local distributor trade shows, contractor days, festival events, and other activities.
  • Assist with warranty claims and maintain a 4-week forward-looking schedule to ensure consistent and cost-effective training and travel.
  • Communicate with other WRBP employees to avoid potential conflicts of interest and identify ways to help each other reach collective goals.
  • Reach and exceed sales targets.

Requirements:

  • University or college graduate preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the building/construction industry.
  • Exceptional sales competencies.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Work autonomously but also as an enthusiastic team player.
  • Must be fluent in English.
