Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager to lead our Alberta territory, encompassing key markets such as Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Lethbridge. In this role, you will oversee a team of Sellers and Account Managers responsible for acquiring and growing top merchants in the market.

Salary Range

The base salary for this position is estimated to be between CAD $111,000 and CAD $123,500 per year, with opportunities for bonus incentives and equity awards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Growth: Drive merchant revenue and value on Uber Eats by leveraging partnerships, marketing, product adoption, and innovative initiatives.
  2. Connect: Engage directly and through your team with local restaurants and influencers to understand which brands are crucial for unlocking growth.
  3. Lead: Manage a team of individual contributors focused on retaining and growing Merchant Partners while prioritizing people development and well-being.
  4. Influence: Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to enhance the Restaurant partner experience and surpass targets.
  5. Strategize: Work with senior leadership to devise and execute strategies for retaining and growing the SMB restaurant partner base.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of work experience in operations, sales, or account management.
  • A track record of coaching, developing people, and building high-performing teams.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, passion for innovation, and ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience working closely with diverse stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
  • Data analysis skills and ability to derive strategic insights.
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EI) and exceptional interpersonal skills.
