Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Manager to lead our General Surgery team in the Central Region. As a key member of our Extended Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing regional sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage the Central Region General Surgery Team: Recruit, select, develop, and coach top-tier sales talent to achieve sustained growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive Regional Sales Growth and Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national marketing plans, and collaborate with marketing to ensure region is executing on marketing plans and providing required regional market information.
  • Build and Maintain Key Relationships: Develop and maintain key relationships with regional surgeon KOLs, SSOs, GPOs, and distributors to maximize revenue and drive sales growth.
  • Provide Leadership and Guidance: Provide open communication, feedback, and guidance to direct reports, and collaborate with Sales Leadership and Finance to create annual territory quotas and forecasts.
  • Represent the Region: Ensure proper representation of the region's needs and provide an unbiased view of any issue, concern, or challenge faced as a member of the General Surgery Extended Leadership Team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years minimum medical devices industry sales experience
  • 2+ years people management experience (preferred)
  • Proven track record in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets year over year
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect the company core values
  • Experience in managing and motivating a sales team
  • Strong selling skills in hospital and clinical environments
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed and operates with high level of urgency
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • High Proficiency in Virtual Platforms including Webex, Zoom, MS Teams
  • Strong English communication, written and verbal
  • Polished and professional, with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel outside of own territory to support sales teams where required
