We are seeking a highly organized Compensation and Benefits Administrator to join our team at YESA. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely completion of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, insurance, and pension plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements using manual or computerized systems.
  • Perform data entry and reconciliation of issued payrolls to bank statements.
Benefits Administration
  • Compile statistics and reports on benefits utilization and administration.
  • Complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
  • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, providing excellent oral and written communication.
  • Assist in preparing T4 statements and other statements as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Access, Excel, Word, and Windows.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
  • A permanent full-time position working 30 hours per week.
