As a key member of our team, the Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our employees, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information about their health and welfare plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert support to employees on health and welfare plans, including eligibility, enrollment, and benefits administration
  • Collaborating with Payroll, Benefit Administration Center, and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Performing ongoing audits and inquiries to identify and resolve issues
  • Acting as a resource and mentor for colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing
  • Reviewing collective bargaining agreements and ensuring benefits setup is accurate and compliant
  • Assisting with specialized internal data requests and analyzing data to identify key issues and patterns
  • Responding to requests from locations and other internal departments on benefits-related inquiries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Employee Benefits functions, with a strong understanding of retirement plan administration and compliance
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on quality control and data analysis
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and V lookups
