Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team at Motel Metro. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling front desk operations, and ensuring seamless communication with our staff and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Registering Guests: Welcome and register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Handling Departures: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
