Comprehensive Administrative Support Professional

Rennie Financial Ltd. is a boutique tax accounting firm based in the heart of downtown Vancouver, renowned for its 14 years of experience and commitment to building personal relationships with clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This role offers flexibility with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours during high-demand periods like tax season.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Managing Director and operational assistance to the broader team. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering phone calls
- Overseeing daily office procedures
To excel in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, technical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. You should be proficient in office productivity software, document management, and client billing systems.
In addition, you will work closely with the team to manage vendor accounts, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Your collaborative approach, initiative, and excellent communication skills will enable you to build positive relationships with colleagues and foster effective teamwork.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with at least two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in an accounting setting. Experience working in a private sector environment is an asset.
RequirementsKey qualifications for this role include:
- Minimum two years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in office productivity software and relevant tools
- Strong technical abilities and capacity to learn new systems
- Experience in client billing, record-keeping, and managing vendor accounts
$50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
