About the Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at GELDA SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORP. as an office administrative assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and establish effective office procedures and routines
  • Compile data, statistics, and other essential information
  • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive reports
  • Maintain accurate inventory and order necessary office supplies
  • Set up and maintain both manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency
Support for Diverse Groups:
  • Foster a welcoming work environment by providing awareness training to employees on supporting persons with disabilities
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create an inclusive atmosphere for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Offer awareness training to employees to create a supportive work environment for youth
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming space for Indigenous workers
  • Make workspace accommodations, such as ergonomic considerations, to meet the physical needs of mature workers
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
Work Environment:
  • This is a permanent position with a 32-35 hour workweek
  • The primary language of this role is English
Estimated Salary Range:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
