We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative support to the Principal and staff at the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
Key Responsibilities- Provide secretarial and administrative services to the Principal and staff, including maintaining office records, ordering school supplies, and performing other duties as assigned.
- Act as a receptionist, greeting visitors and responding to phone calls and emails.
- Provide basic medical attention and first aid as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, such as data entry and filing.
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of Community College in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Three years of related experience in an administrative support role.
- Proficiency in word processing and other office software.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Casual Office Administrators/Administrative Assistants must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations.
CompensationThese are casual positions with an hourly wage range starting at $27.75 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.
