About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Tangerine as a Bilingual Fraud Claims Analyst, where you will play a critical role in resolving fraud claims and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to determine the best course of action for resolving fraud claims, while enhancing customer experience and minimizing losses.
  • Adjudicate liability for fraud/disputes on Tangerine Credit Card, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
  • Prepare and direct the preparation of chargeback authorizations, Pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration proceedings under MasterCard regulations.
  • Ensure customer service delivery fosters overall customer satisfaction, consistent with Tangerine's standards, by providing timely resolutions to transactions.
  • Handle indemnity requests through proper channels, ensuring quick resolution with minimal impact on customers.
  • Manage the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox, monitoring incoming customer inquiries, merchant doc requests, and claim follow-ups.
Requirements
  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and spoken) is required.
  • Experience working with Mastercard products is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TSYS systems is required.
  • Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM EST, with occasional statutory holidays/weekends.
  • Previous Fraud/Dispute experience is necessary.
  • Post-secondary education in business or related disciplines is considered an asset.
  • Customer Service experience, preferably in the financial services industry, is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention-to-detail, and ability to make effective decisions are essential.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem resolution skills are necessary.
