Is this position a fit for you?

In this role, you will:

  • Gather all essential information while seeking additional insights to determine the optimal approach for resolving fraud claims, enhancing customer experience, and reducing losses.
  • Assess liability for fraud and disputes related to Tangerine Credit Card.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of chargeback authorizations, pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration processes in accordance with MasterCard regulations, exercising sound judgment based on comprehensive investigations and analyses.
  • Ensure that customer service delivery promotes overall satisfaction consistent with Tangerine's standards by providing timely resolutions to transactions aligned with the Bank's core values.
  • Manage indemnity requests through appropriate channels to ensure swift resolution with minimal customer impact.
  • Oversee the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox to track all incoming customer inquiries, merchant document requests, and claim follow-ups.

Do you possess the skills necessary for success in this role? We would be excited to collaborate with you if you have:

  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
  • Experience with MasterCard products is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TSYS is required.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM EST (including occasional statutory holidays/weekends), with shifts subject to change.
  • Prior experience in Fraud/Dispute resolution is necessary.
  • A post-secondary degree in business or related fields would be advantageous.
  • Customer service experience is required, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
