Bilingual Fraud Claims Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Gather all essential information while probing for further details to determine the optimal approach for resolving fraud claims, while enhancing customer experience and minimizing losses.
  • Assess liability for fraud and disputes related to Tangerine Credit Card.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of chargeback authorizations, pre-arbitration documents, and arbitration processes in accordance with MasterCard regulations, exercising sound judgment based on comprehensive investigations and analysis.
  • Ensure that customer service delivery promotes overall satisfaction in line with Tangerine's standards by providing timely resolutions to transactions consistent with the Bank's core values.
  • Manage indemnity requests through appropriate channels to ensure swift resolution with minimal impact on the customer.
  • Oversee the Tangerine Fraud Claims inbox to monitor all incoming customer inquiries, merchant document requests, and claim follow-ups.

Do you possess the skills necessary for success in this role? We would be excited to collaborate with you if you have:

  • Fluency in both English and French (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
  • Experience with MasterCard products is required.
  • Proficiency in the following systems is necessary: Microsoft Office and TSYS.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM EST (including occasional statutory holidays/weekends), with shifts subject to change.
  • Prior experience in Fraud/Dispute resolution is required.
  • Post-secondary education in business or related fields would be advantageous.
  • Experience in customer service is essential, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make effective decisions.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
