Skilled Trades Labourer

We are seeking a Skilled Trades Labourer to join our team at MatrixHR. This is a long-term project in Halifax, NS, offering the opportunity to work on various tasks and develop new skills.
About the JobThis position involves general cleaning of shops, facilities, and projects, as well as assisting with setup and preparation for work on vessels or in the shop. You will also be responsible for preparing and applying coatings, performing fire watch and confined space duties, and assisting others wherever needed.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain shops, facilities, and projects

- Prepare and apply coatings
- Perform fire watch and confined space duties
- Assist others wherever needed
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Completion of a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/background check
- Fall Protection certification
- Confined space training
- WHMIS knowledge
- Forklift ticket (asset but not required)
