Senior Labour Law Specialist

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Labour Law Specialist to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of the Labour Relations team, you will provide expert advice on collective agreement interpretation and labour legislation to NSHA and IWK.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB/JD) and be a practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society or eligible to become one. A minimum of 8 years' experience in labour law is required, with a focus on client relations, collective bargaining, essential services, labour arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution.
We offer a competitive salary range of $51.14-$63.92 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, plus a defined benefit pension plan. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance.
About You
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB/JD);
- Practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society or eligible to become a practicing member;
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in labour law.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly.
