We are seeking a skilled Business Compliance Specialist to join our Labour Standards Division. This role involves working with employers and recruiters to enhance their understanding of and compliance with labour legislation.

About the Role

You will play a key role in our compliance and enforcement activities, particularly as they relate to the foreign worker program. Your responsibilities will include inspecting employment records, conducting research, and facilitating early resolution of labour standards complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site inspections of employment records to assess compliance with labour legislation.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports with recommendations on foreign worker program activities.
  • Work with employers and recruiters to resolve labour standards complaints and improve compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of related experience. You should possess excellent writing skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Outlook, is also required.
