Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at 2680976 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits.
    • Develop and implement budget plans to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
    • Monitor revenues and labor costs to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Operational Management
    • Evaluate daily operations and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant's budget.
    • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve overall performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and increase sales.
    • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of accounting software and point of sale systems.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. They will be expected to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
