Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Management

Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget, ensuring that we offer a competitive and appealing menu to our customers.

Operations Planning and Organization

Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling, to ensure that we are running efficiently and effectively.

Staff Management

Train and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Security and Safety

Ensure that we are complying with all relevant health and safety regulations, and that our restaurant is a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.

Experience

At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Language

Fluent in English.
