Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Strategist to join our team at Expeditors.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will involve driving sales growth and achieving strategic goals in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a designated territory and building strong relationships with potential customers and competitors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of local market trends and customer needs
  • Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborate with local and regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources to deliver value-added solutions to customers
  • Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary customer paperwork
  • Attend training & development sessions to enhance selling skills and stay up-to-date on Expeditors' products and services
  • Participate in local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager
  • Travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in both individual and team environments
  • Sense of urgency for goal achievement and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Previous sales experience in the 3PL industry is an asset
  • Experience in sales within the oil and energy sector
