We are seeking a skilled Business Development Strategist to join our dynamic team at ABM College in Alberta and Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of our institution.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation and Market Research:

• Identify and target new business opportunities within the security sector.

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through various lead generation methods (networking, cold calling, attending events, etc.).

  • Client Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.

• Understand client needs and provide tailored security solutions, including electronic security systems, access control, surveillance systems, and more.

• Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business development goals.

• Set sales targets and ensure achievement of KPIs for new business acquisition and revenue generation.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with the company's brand and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the security industry (or related industries such as technology, surveillance, or facilities management).

Strong knowledge of the security industry, including security technologies, systems, and trends.

Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
