About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at Essex Respite Care and Support Services. As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team by providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments for our team members and clients.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the relevant team members in a timely and professional manner.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to support our administrative functions.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to support our financial operations.
Supervision and Work Environment
  • Supervision: You will be working under the supervision of our administrative team and will be responsible for supporting a team of 3-4 people.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent full-time position working 30 hours per week in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Language: The primary language of work is English.
