Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
Personal Suitability:- Client Focus: You will be working with customers on a daily basis, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, so you must be able to work collaboratively and support your colleagues.
- Flexibility: You must be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
