Global Financial Operations Strategist
At BRP, we're on the hunt for a skilled Global Financial Operations Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team within the global parts, accessories and apparel (PA&A) group, you'll collaborate with management and business units focused on the distribution and logistics aspects of our global operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to exert a significant impact on our global transportation operations, driving financial efficiency and operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Financial Modelling: Develop and refine data-driven financial models that guide strategic decision-making in distribution, transportation and 3PL operations, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate the performance of distribution, transportation and 3PL operations, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts. Identify and analyze variances and provide explanations and recommendations to management. This includes financial and operational performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, update, and maintain financial forecasts and budgets for distribution, transportation and 3PL operations. This could involve analyzing historical trends, current data, and predictive models to estimate future costs.
- ETL Process Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes. This involves working with complex data sets from various sources, ensuring their accurate extraction, transformation, and loading into a centralized data warehouse for improved financial and performance analysis.
- Data Visualization and Communication: Utilize modern data visualization tools to translate complex financial and operational data into intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports. This will enhance understanding of trends, patterns, and anomalies, enabling informed decision-making.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including a generous paid time-off policy, pension plan, and collective saving opportunities.
- The opportunity to work with a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt, and even in the air.
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a workforce made up of close to 20,000 spirited people, all driven by the deeply held belief that at work, as with life itself, it's not about the destination: It's about the journey.
- The chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including data analysis, finance, and operations.
- The opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from financial modeling and budgeting to data visualization and ETL process management.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or another related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in data analysis and finance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both official languages.
- The ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships and networks.
- The ability to influence different groups of people to achieve win-win solutions.
- A strong sense of responsibility and team spirit.
- The ability to work unsupervised and lead independently in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of database structures and query tools, and hands-on experience with advanced query tools, including but not limited to platforms like Snowflake and SQL (SSMS).
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Knime and Dataiku would be a plus, but don't worry if you've never used them. We'll teach you.
- Expertise in leveraging sophisticated data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Programming experience in Python, R, or SQL.
- A proven ability to learn and use different information systems (e.g. SAP, TM1, Ariba, etc.).
How to Apply:
If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and operations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and skills.
We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
