Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

At Global Excel Management Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and insights to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business growth and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to interpret revenue streams and expenses, and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Support the Vice-President of Corporate Finance with annual and quarterly forecasts, and manage the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecasts.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior management, providing financial guidance and insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations showcasing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Identify business risks and opportunities, and report on performance indicators.
  • Interact frequently with finance business partners to develop a clear understanding of business issues.
  • Review, design, and build dashboards in Workday and scenario modeling to support business growth and client acquisition.
  • Assist with key automation projects, such as the implementation of an accounting software system and the integration of the financial system with other critical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA).
  • 10+ years of budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience.
  • 7+ years of previous leadership experience.
  • Strong business acumen, collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (mandatory).
  • Excellent reporting skills—written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-starter, proactive, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Commercial & Internal Customer Awareness.
