Job Title: Chief Technology Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Chief Technology Strategist to join our team at Global Excel Management Inc. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing comprehensive technology solutions across major platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Architect and integrate scalable, efficient technology solutions, considering agility, DevSecOps, enterprise architecture guidance, API design, and solution dependencies;
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed systems;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designed solutions;
  • Actively identify and propose strategies to manage and reduce technical debt;
  • Provide subject matter expert support on public cloud, low-code platform, data lake, data science platform, and ERP platform, providing insights into effective API design and management of solution dependencies;
  • Mentor and train other team members on new technologies and best practices;
  • Engage with business leaders to understand and anticipate their needs;
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of solutions for optimization;
  • Ensure data integrity and privacy in all solutions;
  • Research and propose new technologies or processes for operational improvement;
  • Implement projects or training throughout our different sites;
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other departments;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field;
  • Extensive experience with Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday;
  • The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Certification an asset;
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions;
  • Leadership experience in managing technology projects;
  • English speaking is required as this role supports a global reach team;
  • Relevant certifications in the aforementioned platforms are considered an asset;
