Job Title: Chief Technology Strategist
About the Role:
We are seeking a Chief Technology Strategist to join our team at Global Excel Management Inc. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing comprehensive technology solutions across major platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
- Architect and integrate scalable, efficient technology solutions, considering agility, DevSecOps, enterprise architecture guidance, API design, and solution dependencies;
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed systems;
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designed solutions;
- Actively identify and propose strategies to manage and reduce technical debt;
- Provide subject matter expert support on public cloud, low-code platform, data lake, data science platform, and ERP platform, providing insights into effective API design and management of solution dependencies;
- Mentor and train other team members on new technologies and best practices;
- Engage with business leaders to understand and anticipate their needs;
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of solutions for optimization;
- Ensure data integrity and privacy in all solutions;
- Research and propose new technologies or processes for operational improvement;
- Implement projects or training throughout our different sites;
- Facilitate communication between IT and other departments;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field;
- Extensive experience with Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday;
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Certification an asset;
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions;
- Leadership experience in managing technology projects;
- English speaking is required as this role supports a global reach team;
- Relevant certifications in the aforementioned platforms are considered an asset;
